“There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”–Albert Einstein
If nothing is a miracle, it’s not too great a leap to suggest that life has no meaning. Sure, we work most of our lives to accomplish something, to make a name for ourselves, but tomorrow it’s forgotten. Even if we accomplish something great like discovering penicillin or finding a cure for polio, the day will come when no one remembers our name. Our successes will fall to the wayside when someone else takes it one step further. And what does it matter if people are still going to die? There exists no cure for death.
If everything is a miracle, then there exists Someone greater who is creating something out of nothing, one who gives purpose to life because He is life. Then we can find meaning in every action from the spectacular to the mundane. Everything we do is for the sake of His glory. Everything we do is so that others will be able to experience His greatness and love.
Live your life looking for the miracles!
Happy Thursday!
