JOY

Thanks to all who prayed for me and my surgery. Everything went well, and I have a good team looking after me while I recover. I’m still not at the top of my game yet however. So here’s a little something to kickstart your mindfulness for the week.

Most of us are familiar with the acronym J.O.Y. It stands for Jesus, Others, You. It is a checklist, of sorts, for believers, reminding us to put God first, and others before ourselves. Luke reminded us in Acts 20:35 that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (ESV).
